This information is provided relative to the Transoceanic battery pack.  It is new and under construction or better described as a "work in progress".  Below are some links about the TO batteries and other miscellaneous links that I found informative.

All of the pictures that are linked to a different web site are from that particular associated web sites.  So I consider those pictures the work and property of their respective owner and do not take credit for them.  While you are there, drop the web owners an email thanking them for their site.

Construction

When Jim sent these images to me I was impressed.  He uses commonly available materials for the internal structure of the batteries.

 The big pack.

"FYI, the  90/9 volt batteries seem to come in at least 2 sizes.  I have a Zenith and RCA that are the same dimensions,  but also have a Eveready that is a little smaller.

More from Bill Morris:  This is a great looking replica battery constructed with care.  I purchased the red battery set on the right.

 Hi Paul;

 I attempted to reproduce the EverReady battery artwork from scratch by examining the real thing.  I have my results posted as two files at http://www.eskimo.com/~dritland/radios

You are welcome to download them and use whatever you think might be of help.  The original is in Aldus Pagemaker 5.0 format and the other is the same file printed to an Adobe Acrobat virtual printer, the result of which is a standard PDF file. When I had these printed at a local print shop, we got much better results with the original PM5 file, than the PDF version, but the PDF version is easier for most folks to view.  A good print shop will understand Pagemaker and should be able to deal with it.  The PDF version demonstrated some digital artifacts at certain zoom levels which were difficult to correct.

Anyway, I figured I'd let a second set of eyes take a look at them before I submitted these things for general consumption.

 Kindest Regards.

 Drew

Unfortunately many web sites and links have disappeared and went a way.  I have begun to remove many of the dead links.  Please forgive me if you find a few on my web site.  I will try to keep the fine work of these authors alive (even though the text is lost the art work is still shown).  If you don't mind please let me know.

Thanks, Paul.
